Policy 3280 – Student Fees

The ÁùºÏ²Ê½á¹û½ñÆÚ recognizes the need for student fees to fund certain school activities that are not financed through the ÁùºÏ²Ê½á¹û½ñÆÚ budget. The Superintendent of Schools shall have the authority to establish schedules of student fees, fines and charges. Established district procedures for accounting and transfer of funds shall be followed. All proceeds shall be deposited in the General Fund.

The ÁùºÏ²Ê½á¹û½ñÆÚ recognizes that some students may not be able to pay these fees or charges. No student shall be denied the opportunity to participate in school programs or activities because of his/her family’s inability to pay necessary fees and charges. The principal shall have the authority to waive the ÁùºÏ²Ê½á¹û½ñÆÚ-wide annual student base fee.
