2024 Youth Summer Activities

Kenosha Unified offers free summer activities to ALL children who reside in the City of Kenosha, Village of Pleasant Prairie and Town/Village of Somers. Registration opens each spring to all families with children ages 6-18 (must be six on or before Aug. 31, 2024). All participants must reside within the boundaries of the ÁùºÏ²Ê½á¹û½ñÆÚ, but children do not need to attend ÁùºÏ²Ê½á¹û½ñÆÚ to participate.


Adult Programs

Women’s Volleyball League

The Department of Recreation will offer Women’s Volleyball Leagues for women 16 years of age or older. There will be 8 teams on each night league. The minimum number of players on a team is six and maximum is eight players. No members of any school women’s volleyball teams are eligible to play in the program.

  • The Power League will play on Mondays, beginning on Jan. 22 at Washington Middle School from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. for a period of 12 weeks.
  • The Recreation League will play on Tuesdays at Lance Middle School beginning Jan. 23 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. for a period of 12 weeks.

In the case that the Power League is not filled, additional Rec League spots will become available at a later date for Monday nights
