Policy 4110 – Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action

The ÁùºÏ²Ê½á¹û½ñÆÚ is an equal opportunity employer. Personnel administration in the ÁùºÏ²Ê½á¹û½ñÆÚ shall be conducted so as not to discriminate on the basis of age, race, creed, religion, color, sex (including sexual orientation or gender identity), pregnancy, national origin, disability, marital status, ancestry, citizenship, arrest or conviction record, membership in the national guard, state defense force, or any other reserve component of the military forces of the United States or Wisconsin, use or non-use of lawful products off school premises during non-working hours, or any other reason prohibited by state or federal law. Responsibility for overseeing the ÁùºÏ²Ê½á¹û½ñÆÚ’s equal employment opportunity and affirmative action programs and investigating discrimination complaints is assigned to the Office of Human Resources.

All employees will receive information and training regarding rights and responsibilities regarding discrimination considerations as they relate to employment.

Any applicant or ÁùºÏ²Ê½á¹û½ñÆÚ employee who believes they have been discriminated against in violation of this Policy should file a complaint pursuant to Board Policy 4111.1. Any applicant or ÁùºÏ²Ê½á¹û½ñÆÚ employee who believes that they have been subject to sexual harassment in violation of Title IX should refer to Board Policy 1710, which sets forth the ÁùºÏ²Ê½á¹û½ñÆÚ’s grievance procedure associated with violations of Title IX relative to sexual harassment.
